Additional Resources for Educators

Check out BEETLES, a collection of passionate science and environmental educators devoted to improving the quality of outdoor science education. These resources provide guidance for educators to connect kids to nature:

Cultivating Curiosity: This field journal can be used as a tool for kids and adults of any age as a guide to exploring the natural world and connecting with and observing the invertebrates around you. The journal was created by Leslie Campbell.  (Please note that PDF file downloads from a web page outside of the Xerces website.)

We also encourage you to check out our upcoming webinars and review the content in our Publications Library, which has a wide assortment of fact sheets, guidelines, and other information related to invertebrate conservation. Some of the information we provide is highly technical, but some of our resources are suited for broader audiences.
